Two billion people in the world suffer from various forms of malnutrition. A shocking figure, right? And how many of us are taking conscious efforts to change that? Not enough. It always takes that one person, one human being to go ahead and something for the world. No they don’t want fame, publicity or just to be called a hero. These are the people who work incognito to change the life of millions of people, without garnering any attention towards themselves.

H.E Roy Fernandes is one of those, working continuously with The Intergovernmental Institution for the use of microalgae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM) he has ascertained himself as one of the best protocol officers who makes sure the smooth functioning and organisation of these high profile events where delegates from across the world come together. The IIMSAM is working towards their agenda of taking out malnutrition from the world and Roy is one of the key people making this happen.

He also setup the “Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Free Spirulina Feeding Centre” in Kisumu, Kenya which supplies Spirulina to thousands of people suffering from acute malnutrition. He is a visionary and wishes to do more for the greater good of the world. Being an important member of the IIMSAM he is an international delegate and has always been in discussions with presidents/heads of numerous countries.

H.E Roy Fernandes continues to influence the lives of the lesser privileged children across the world within the IIMSAM Mandate “inter alia” while he always lends his helping hand to those in need in the UAE.
